Asics EX89 low top sneakers in white and port royal are inspired by the GEL-EXTREME sneaker from 1989. Originally created by Toshikazu Kayano for his first design project at ASICS the sneakers feature an updated the cushioning system with our FF BLAST technology, a sculpted heel shape to improve underfoot comfort during everyday scenarios., and an outsole’s pattern which mirrors the view of a city from the sky. This functional grip feature was initially inspired by the designer’s first business trip to the United States in 1987.
